What is ultrasonic welding
It is a high frequency mechanical vibration that pushes two particular thermoplastics to weld without glue or additives.
The advantages
Ultrasonic welding is an effective and functional welding process. Here are the main advantages:
How it works
Ultrasonic welding is a high frequency mechanical vibration that stimulates the thermoplastic parts and creates a progressive intermolecular clutch. Stress and friction lead to a localized rise in temperature.
The temperature increase, concentrated in an extremely short period of time, causes the fusion of the junction area that, under the action of a constant force, pushes two details to join, penetrating each other, and to weld.
