Plastics molding

What is plastics molding

Plastics molding is the set of all those technologies and transformation processes that allow the production of components made of polymeric material through the use of a mold. The plastics molding process involves several types of molding, which you can choose according to your needs.

Plastics molding

The advantages

Plastics molding has so many benefits for your company's production. The benefits vary depending on the type of molding you choose. Plastics, in general, have lower costs than other materials and are lightweight, versatile, durable, have low energy consumption and are recyclable.

Low consumption

Plastics production consumes only a small amount of raw materials.

Large quantities

By molding plastics you produce large quantities in less time.

Flexibility

Plastics molding ensures flexible design and production.

Types of plastics molding

The types of molding over the years have differed according to the material to be processed, the shapes you wish to obtain, and the physical characteristics the product must have.

Injection molding

We do single-material molding: we make components with a type of injection involving only one type of polymer or thermoplastic material.

Two-component moulding

We make components with high aesthetic characteristics and high tightness and performance due to the possibility of molding two different thermoplastic materials in the same mold.

Gas assisted molding

This process, also referred to as GAIM (Gas Assisted Injection Moulding), involves the insertion of gas into a duct to make a “hollow” article inside.

Co-molding

This type of molding allows plastic materials to be fused with other different materials such as metal, brass, or aluminum. The result is a piece of plastic firmly coupled with an insert encapsulated in it.
